KING TRUMPET MUSHROOMS RECIPE

Relatives of the oyster mushroom family, these gorgeous king trumpet mushrooms with their thick stems add a meaty and substantial texture to recipes.

SIMPLE TRUMPET MUSHROOM SAUTE RECIPE
Ingedients
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1-2 tablespoons butter
1/2 pound trumpet mushrooms, sliced in half
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
lemon juice (optional)
Method
In a pan, heat the olive oil on medium-high and saute the minced garlic in the oil until it is lightly golden. Stir in the butter, and salt. Once the butter is completely melted, add the mushrooms, and saute for roughly 5-8 minutes. Turn off the heat once the mushrooms are cooked through, and stir in the parsley. Salt and pepper to taste. If you would like to brighten the dish, lightly sprinkle lemon juice before serving.

Thank you! Yummy! Personally, I would reduce the salt a bit, but that's a personal choice. Otherwise it was perfect. Thanks again!
