SoyJoy Whole Soy Nutritious Blueberry Goodness

As part of the Foodbuzz Tastemaker program, I received two complimentary bars of blueberry SoyJoy.

Here's some information from SoyJoy that came along with the sample:
"What's the different between SoyJoy and the tempting baked good? SoyJoy offers an all natural mix of real fruit and ground whole soybeans. Whole soy is a naturally powerful food rich in protein, fiber, antioxidents and B vitamins. Plus, Blueberry SoyJoy bars have 0 grams trans fat, no hydrogenated oils, no artificial flavors or colors, no preservatives or chemical additives and they have only 140 calories!"

Sounds great, doesn't it? But how does it taste, you ask? In a nutshell, like a dense blueberry muffin-flavored cookie. I like the big bite texture, which is neither hard nor crumbly, somewhere comfortably in between.  I also like the quality of ingredients, specifically that the soybeans are non-GMO, that they use dried wild blueberry along with dried coconut to sweeten the bar. It's very likely purchase blueberry and other SoyJoy flavors because it's a great high protein snack.

Thanks Foodbuzz and Soyjoy for letting me sample the newest flavor!

Ah my hubby's favorite flavor, besides me :)

Being the unhealthy sweet eater I am, my first thought is 'so little', but I am proud to say I would except it as is, and have not touched sweets in over two weeks...

I usually shy away from these products, but after your review, I believe I'll give these a try. They would be handy to have in your bag on a trip to curb your appetite when a meal is out of the question at the time.

Good to know you recommend the bars and I trust your recommendation. Sounds like a good product to have on hand for emergency hunger.

I missed the boat for the Tastemakers samples, but I will check them out.
