Pucci Manuli A Toy Store that Never Grows Old

Do you remember the first time you walked into a toy store? I imagine it felt like the magical world of fairytales, Wonderland and pixie dust come true. Pucci Manuli in Ardmore, PA is such a store, built from the wonderment and whimsy of a child's eye but with the mature discernment of quality and a desire for novelty. On a recent visit (we visit often) we found an amazing collection of life-like puppets made with charming detail and beautiful craftsmanship. While the marionettes were out of our budget, we did leave with an heirloom wood toy puzzle, a chicken that held a little surprise inside.

What a beautiful store, and I love the chicken puzzle. I must admit that even as an adult, I can't resist such a magical toy store!

Oh I think that is what a toy store is meant to look like!

What a cool place! I do remember the first time I walked into a big toy store, but it wasn't until I was in my teens during my first visit to Chicago. All those big stuffed animals! I still love it as an adult.

Hi !
I just happen to stumble upon your blog while blog-hopping.
Very lovely pictures ! We don't have toy stores like this here in Malaysia (or at least, not that I know of) so thanks for sharing these online and I shall make a note to self to travel more !
