MEYER LEMON GIVEAWAY WINNER

Between fielding e-mails about how cute my French cooking instructor Chef Julien Chauvet is and writing up the next post on one of the world's most loved wine regions, I had the great pleasure of reading everyone's suggestion to where I should travel next year. It looks like next year's big trip will be to Tuscany! I'm looking forward to visiting Italy in the summer when many amazing fruits of that region will be in season.

It comes as no surprise that this year's Culinary Getaway to Tuscany in May has already been booked up, and in fact, a second week has been opened, but I already used up my big trip credit on the Truffle Getaway, so I'll have to wait until next year. Until then, I'll be brushing up on my Italian, sprinkling posts with words from two romance languages. Sì, parlo bene l'italiano.

So without further ado, it gives me great pleasure to announce the winner of the Meyer Lemon Giveaway picked by Random.org:

Natasha of 5 Star Foodie Culinary Adventures said "I was fortunate enough to grab the last bag of Meyer lemons the other day in Wegmans and I'm certain there won't be any more to be found."

Natasha congratulations! I can't wait to see what intriguing and amazing concoctions you come up with!

  24. Thanks for the kind comments everyone! I am certain that Natasha will come up with something absolutely wonderful.

Trissa - I do typically plan big trips a year in advance, otherwise I'll never make the leap, especially to places where I'm not fluent in the language. This year the Provence truffle trip was booked up until a couple canceled last minute, freeing up space for me. It was actually a tough decision to go because my husband's schedule didn't permit the time. But because he insisted, I went on the trip. One of these days we'll return to Provence together.

Second, I biked around Tuscany. So great! Do not, however, eat the bread. It's just awful. They don't use any salt!
