Château Beaucastel Winery of Châteauneuf-du-Pape

It has been dubbed the crown jewel of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a winery that stands neck to neck with the elite producers of the world, and in the wine business, it is one that needs no introduction: Château Beaucastel.

LESSONS FROM DAY 1 IN PARIS

Eight inches shorter than me, half my dress size and brimming with a fire pistol temper, she is my cousin from Paris. When my mom suggested that I stay with my cousin on my first days in the city, I had no idea what I was getting into. Maly is the feisty pint-sized version of me, who took charge of guiding me through France's largest city. Don't let that sweet photo of her fool you, she is a feisty one!

ON MY WAY TO FRANCE

Bags are packed, passport in hand and I am ready to head off to France. Only it's snowing outside. Rather than being worried about air traffic delays, I am completely mesmerized by the powder white snow flakes flurrying from the heavens. It will be the same scene for the next few hours, but I can sit before my window and stare for days. I'm reflecting on life, how lucky I am to have such an incredible husband who makes my journey through life so fulfilling, parents who support and love me through life's trials, and of course friends, the many souls that that bring such warmth to my heart.  What is it about snow that triggers such nostalgia? The thoughts of gratitude bring tears to my eyes, and I couldn't be happier.

APPLE PICKING AT PHILLIPS FARM

Each Monday Phillips Farms brings in a truckload of their freshly picked produce from rolling hills of Milford, New Jersey to showcase at Manhattan's Union Square Greenmarket. An impressive array of vegetables and fruits from leafy greens to apples, berries and pumpkins don their farm stand and attracts a large following of farmers market attendees.

NORTHERN NEW JERSEY

The fall foliage is changing the color of the landscape of the Northeastern region as summer's lush green leaves ripen into autumn shades of red, orange and yellow. It is as if someone took a big paint brush and made several strokes across a canvas. It's no wonder that people here get so nostalgic about this time of year, it's  so picturesque.

NORTH FORK LONG ISLAND

This past weekend, my husband and I headed north to Long Island wine country for a short weekend getaway. We intended to visit a couple of wineries, but since this was our first time traveling through the North Fork region, we rented a few bikes and went sight-seeing along the main road.

FRESH LOCAL & BEST in SAN FRANCISCO

After too many days of muggy weather in New York, I am in San Francisco for a retreat from the heat. It's only been a few months since I moved to Manhattan, but this is my second visit back home. Needless to say, I miss dearly the beautiful foggy city by the bay.

FRESH LOCAL & BEST in ASPEN

Recently, I returned from a visit to Aspen to check out the farmer's market and local restaurants. This was my first visit to the small town, and I have to admit that I had absolutely no idea what to expect. How was it, you might ask?

Posh. In one word, Aspen is posh. Nestled in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, this swanky scene is much more than your average ski town. Downtown Aspen was eerily familiar, like shopping on Manhattan's upper east side. What were Prada, Fendi and Loro Piana doing in Rockies?
