MADISON SQUARE MARKET

The streets are growing more lively at Madison Square Garden as its first seasonal market is being held just outside the park. From now until November 1st, a wide array of food and artisan craft vendors will offering their finest creations along 5th Avenue and Broadway.

While you focus your eyes on the imaginative array of unique home furnishings, knitting and hand-made pottery, you can look forward to occupying your mouth with your choice of pork buns, sliders, tacos, swedish meat balls or savory crepes as your legs take you from one stand to the next.

Eclectic, fun and satisfying, this market has something for everyone. So if you're in the neighborhood stop by! The market will be open daily between 11am - 8pm.

I need to parcel out some time over the next few days to try a couple or a bunch of the items mentioned. I'm very curious about the beignets and tacos. The market started October 9th, and I'm so late to it that I thought it would be best to send an FYI out. I'm looking forward to sharing about a huge wine-tasting event soon.

I've heard about this market, but haven't been out there to check it out myself. I saw photos of the Vikings (Danish food) on Serious Eats and they had some tasty looking aebelskiver (better looking donut holes?) and meatballs!
